I was born & raised in Toronto. My creativity started at an early age running around taking instant photos with my Polaroid. It was at this time that I learned that every picture I took counted as I would only have 10 frames per film/box. My desire to record my life around me started in my late teens with a birthday gift of my 1st Nikon. Being self taught I decided to expand my knowledge & completed the 2 year creative photography program at Humber College.
In my early professional life I worked for a busy Toronto Studio for 6 years being an associate photographer & studio assistant honing my business & photography skills. I then opened Eclipse Photography in 1996, we are celebrating 22 years in business in 2018. I have photographed a wide range of subjects over the years including Sarah Duchess of York, Jane Goodall, Connie Chung and the late Joan Rivers to name a few. My commercial clients includes the Shangri La (Toronto), Goldman Sachs (New York), and Dragons Den to name a few.
The bulk of my clients have been 825 + wedding & bar/bat mitzvah clients where I've perfected making everyone in front of my camera feel at ease. The last couple of years I've been learning the fine art of headshots, my new pursuit in my photography career.
I'm always reaching new heights. When I'm not behind the camera, you'll find me pounding the pavement training for my next marathon or Triathlon. In 2012 I accomplished a huge personal personal achievement in competing & finishing Mont-Tremblant Ironman. I am also an avid globe-trotter, having explored 48 countries on all 7 continents.
My love of adventure and pursuit of excellence comes thru in everything I do. From trekking to Everest Base Camp and leading photos safaris in Africa to photographing unique people. My focus and passion for people drive's my ambition to succeed.
