Photo of the Day – Iceland

I have just returned from an Incredible trip to Iceland with my girlfriend Janet. After 13 days & about 2700 km put on our rental 4 WD Suzuki – Grand Vitara I came home tired but extremely happy with how our trip went with a few minor mishaps along the way. Janet at first was not really that interested in camping in Iceland with me, though after she did some research & agreed to go we had an amazing time. The camping was challenging at times – setting up & tearing down in the rain & high winds. Though this would become a distant memory after seeing another beautiful landscape. I plan on uploading Images in the next few weeks to show some of the beautiful landscapes I photographed along the way. The photo below was take in South East Iceland – taken with incredible winds against us I am surprised neither one of us was thrown over the cliffs let along get an image worthy of use.

Finally getting back to posting some images , we have been super busy as we are in full swing wedding season. The other week we were finishing our last photo 101 class & needed some models to photograph, after running into Jamie + Brett at a wedding I gave them a call & they were 100% in. This is the second time that I photographed Jamie + Brett as a couple, the last time was back in February for their engagement photos – on a farm up in Caledon – Click Here. Toronto Photography Classes | Cool Night Shots

Last week we got together to do some night photography with our Toronto Photography Classes. I am amazed at the talent and quality of the photographs our students are turning out , totally inspirational.  It had just rained prior to our shoot which gave us some nice reflection off the roads. Our new classes will be starting in March 2010 and will be launched late December. If you are interested in signing up or put on our email list please send in a comment or email us.

Toronto Photography Classes | Melissa Rocks it

In our Toronto Photography Class i love to teach our students basic and advanced lighting , so if they want to photograph anyone indoors they will have the background to do this. This was a perfect time to explore lighting with a simple set-up achieving great results as you will see below.

Melissa from the  Fulcher Agency Ltd was our model of choice for the night and she did not disappoint. Everyone from the class had a chance to photograph Melissa one on one and she was amazing!

Toronto Photography Classes | Location shoot Architecture in Toronto

Our current 6 week Toronto Photography Class has been making some pretty amazing photos.

We recently photographed some urban scenes downtown starting at Union Station. Once the sun had set we then used the tall buildings as our subject for some dramatic night shots. Toronto is a great city to photograph especially at night. Here are some of the many great shots our group took that night.

Our last 6 week Toronto Photography Class of this year starts on Wednesday October 28 and runs until December 2nd, 2009. We still have a few spots left if you are looking for a photography course to inspire you into the next level of your photography. Please visit our last post on Photography classes to learn more of what this great class has to offer (CLICK HERE TO REGISTER) . Any other questions please call Doug at 416-256-3000 , hope to see you in class soon.
