Leora + Rafi

We recently photographed Leora + Rafi’s wedding in Toronto. The coverage started out with some getting ready photos before Leora + Rafi saw each other for the 1st time. Leora wanted some beach photos so we went down to Cherry Beach to do their wedding portraits. Leora was up for anything for her photos so on a few shots we had her climb a lifeguard station, what a great Bride! After Cherry Beach we went to Polson Pier for a few skyline photos before going back to Beth Tzedec where they had their wedding/reception. Judy Stein Consulting helped pull the whole event together, awesome to work with! Martin from MGX Video capture their evening beautifully and Gitta Florist did all the design with flowers. Nu Rhythm kept the dance floor packed all night. Congratulations Leora + Rafi you guy’s are amazing!

I hope they will look back as the years go by to how cute they were. Looking back in just 8 short months since the last time I photographed them they have changed. We recommend to document your child’s life as they grow up, so they will have some photos to cherish when they get older. Toronto Engagement Photos | Karla and Steven – Retro 40′s Style

I love when clients come to me and say “We want to do something different”. This was the case with Karla and Steven.

Karla and Steven approached us to do their engagement photos in Toronto with a different look. The fabulous Nicole of Eclipse helped style this shoot with her hair/makeup style along with clothing suggestions helped pull off this fabulous look. We started downtown Toronto for their engagement photos until the sun set  which gave us some beautiful colours in the sky for the last few shots.

Toronto Wedding Photography | Eglinton Grand | Sepideh & Matthew

We recently photographed Sepideh & Matthew wedding which took place at  the beautiful  Windsor Arms Hotel . The ceremony had some traditions of Sepideh’s Persian background. After the ceremony we photographed the bridal party around the Windsor Arms & also on The U of T grounds. After the bridal party shots we did some more location shots withe Sepideh & Matthew downtown before making our way back to the Eglinton Grand for their reception. Sepideh & Matthew were really fun to photograph as you will see in the photos along with their bridal party.

The wedding reception had a movie theme “Diamonds Are Forever” with Kanye singing for them as they entered their reception. They also had posters in the old movie theatre tying in with their theme. The marquee was also lit up with “Diamonds Are Forever”. Sepideh & Matthew i wish you all the best in the years to come…….CONGRATULATIONS!

Toronto Wedding Photography | The Carlu | Azadeh & Guillaume

We recently photographed Azadeh & Guiilaume’s wedding in Toronto  on a beautiful summer sunny day. There was not a cloud in the sky for their ceremony on Lake Ontario on the Kajama Tall Ship. Tina Hamer from PLAN4ME helped make the whole day run smoother. Their whole philosophy on their wedding day was to have lots of fun & it shows in the photos! We then took them down to Osgoode Hall & University Avenue for some fun photos. We finished off with a beautiful reception at the Carlu.

Eclipse Photography Classes

On a recent outing with our photography class we did some sunset/night photography down by the lake.
Living in the city you sometimes forget how beautiful our surroundings are.
We started down at Cherry Beach with some beautiful light in the sky & kicking off the water.
5 minutes from downtown but so peaceful.

[caption id="attachment_412" align="aligncenter" width="600" caption="Eclipse Photography Classes"]Eclipse Photography Classes[/caption]

Once the sun had set we then did some great skyline shots of the city.
Some of has tripods which enabled us to do longer exposures & get more depth to our photos.
As we were shooting for about 1 hour , there was a group of guys that pulled up in their sport cars.
Blasting away their music with their cars running , we were able to get the light coming off their headlights which added some interest to the dark edge where the ship was resting in the water.
