Toronto Photography Classes | University of Toronto | Kensington Market

We finished up our August – September Toronto Photography Classes last session with some really great photos from our students. We had a blast the last week with starting off doing some photos on the grounds of the University of Toronto.

After playing there for a while & doing a fun group shot , we then made our way over to Kensington Market to shoot the diverse background & people that frequent Kensington Market.

I was honored to teach you photography with such a great group and to see everyone grow as photographers in 6 weeks. We have just launched our online Photography Forum for all of Eclipse Photography students.

A forum for all Eclipse Photography students where you and other like-minded photographers can exchange ideas, including photo taking techniques, editing photos, camera & lens choices , as well as general photography aspects. Also a place to post photos . Every month we will have a photography competition moderated by me. Yes there will also be a prize for the photo that best represents the subject on a technical level.

Toronto Wedding Photography | Beth Tikvah | Michelle and Arin

We recently photographed Michelle and Arin’s wedding in Toronto at Beth Tikvah . They had a beautiful summer day for photos. We took them down to Alexander Muir Park for some beautiful park photos. After the park we did some urban photos down Yonge Street and then we went over to Glendon College for some more photos. CONGRATULATIONS MICHELLE AND ARIN!

Toronto Wedding Photography | Caffino | Dione & Sandy

We recently photographed Dione & Sandy’s wedding in Toronto at Caffino a beautiful authentic eclectic trattoria restaurant on King Street West. I first met Dione & Sandy back in April of this year at a party we were both working at. Oh & if you did not know Dione & Sandy also have this amazing band called Soular. Dione also received a Gemini nomination for her tribute performance to Oscar Peterson check it out here HYMN TO FREEDOM.

Their wedding was intimate but fun.

We had an amazing time photographing Dione & Sandy as they got right into the photo shoot.

Toronto Engagement Photography | CNE | Natalie & Doug

We recently photographed Natalie & Doug’s engagement photos at the CNE . Whenever the Canadian National Exhibition comes to Toronto it brings back memories of cotton candy, candy apples & Tiny Tom Donuts and lots of rides and games especially the Birthday Game on The Midway. We had lot’s of fun photographing Doug & Natalie playing some games & going on some rides.

Toronto Wedding Photography | Eglinton Grand | Sepideh & Matthew

We recently photographed Sepideh & Matthew wedding which took place at the beautiful Windsor Arms Hotel . The ceremony had some traditions of Sepideh’s Persian background. After the ceremony we photographed the bridal party around the Windsor Arms & also on The U of T grounds. After the bridal party shots we did some more location shots withe Sepideh & Matthew downtown before making our way back to the Eglinton Grand for their reception. Sepideh & Matthew were really fun to photograph as you will see in the photos along with their bridal party.

The wedding reception had a movie theme “Diamonds Are Forever” with Kanye singing for them as they entered their reception. They also had posters in the old movie theatre tying in with their theme. The marquee was also lit up with “Diamonds Are Forever”. Sepideh & Matthew i wish you all the best in the years to come…….CONGRATULATIONS!

Toronto Photography Classes | Model Location Shoot | Melissa

Last week our Toronto Photography Class got together for a model photo shoot at Sunnyside Pavillion. Melissa from Fulcher Agency Ltd in Toronto was incredible & gave us lot’s to work with. We did some nice sunset shot’s on the pier , along with some architecture shot’s. The exercise for this photo shoot was to give our photography students a great subject to photograph in a photogenic location using all of their skills they have learned so far. We had 1 on 1 time with each student with myself coaching them thru the photo shoot with the model.

Everyone really enjoyed the shoot & after seeing some student’s images i am anxious to see everyone’s Top 10 images tomorrow night at our 5th week class.

Our next 6 week Photography class starts on Wednesday September 16, 2009 and there are just a few spots left reserve now as this will sell out. There will also be a 6 week Photography class introduced for October/Novemeber 2009. On top of the 6 week program we also have a 1 Day Bootcamp for those anxious to learn the basics in 1 day.
