This image was taken in Venice a few years back & is one of my favourites! I was in Venice for a workshop with Yervant who is considered one of the World’s best wedding photographers. On one of the days during the workshop we had some beautiful Italian women to photograph to hone our craft. Venice always brings back some great memories. Right behind this piazza in one of the many alleyways there was a great tratoria that we would go for lunch. Venice is very touristy but if you take a walk away from San Marco Piazza & St. Mark’s Basilica you can find some great piazza’s or alleyways to do some amazing photography and grab a bite to eat.

Back to School – Photo 101

After Labor Day all the kids are getting ready to move ahead into a new school year. This was always an exciting time meeting new teachers & starting new courses to further their education. If you have an itch to learn a new craft this September maybe photography is one of them? At Eclipse Photography we are having our Photo 101 course start in a few weeks with just a few spots left. We will be starting another series of 4 week photography sessions on September 22nd. If you have a DSLR camera & you have not taken it out of program mode this course is for you. We will start off with the basics to get you familiar with your camera & then start showing you how to use manual mode for creative freedom. Click here to learn more about the course been offered.

We photographed Brandon last week along with his family at their cottage in Muskoka. These photos celebrated his upcoming Bar Mitzvah in Toronto in September. We ended the day with some great rocking sunset shots!

Pamela + Robert – Engagement Session

We recently photographed Pamela + Robert’s engagement session in Oakville. Their wedding is in October at the Eglinton Grand so we did some nice photos that they can use for posters at their wedding. We started down by the lake in Oakville with some nice shots by the lighthouse. Pamela + Robert wanted something different so afterwards we went to the 5Drive-in in Okaville & got some real cute shots! We had a lot of fun photographing you Pamela + Robert & we look forward to documenting your wedding in October. Congratulations!

Melissa + David – Windsor Arms

We recently photographed Melissa + David’s beautiful intimate wedding at the Windsor Arms hotel in Toronto. I love photographing weddings at the Windsor Arms as it has a special charm & warmth to it. David had family + friends join him from France for the celebration. The weather was sunny & warm so we went for a stroll to the U of T & surrounding area to photograph Melissa + David. Lisa from Heidi Greunspan was the wedding planner for the day & was awesome to work with. David from Designing Trendz as always did an incredible job with the decor & flowers. Lisa Feinstein shot the video & George St. Kitt’s had the dance floor grooving all night. Melissa + David it was a pleasure to document your wedding you both make a beautiful couple. Congratulations!
